Jim and Larry have been friends for many years. A few months ago, Larry was out shopping when his wallet, which contained his rent money, was stolen. He reached out to Jim. He was worried that he would be evicted from his apartment since he no longer had the money to pay his rent.

Jim tried multiple avenues to help Larry without success. Thankfully, he was able to get Larry an appointment with the Salvation Army after seeing a Facebook post that they had some funds to help people who were having difficulty paying their rent or utilities. Larry was approved and is no longer behind on his rent. Jim has also started taking Larry to the Salvation Army food pantry each week.
